#Problems

This was my club International Contest Speech (Bahrain Eloquent Toastmasters Club) in the beginning of 2016 for the term 2015-2016, and i won first place. I wrote this speech before the contest by few hours only, and i kept practicing till my name was called. I was confident and scared the same time, it’s been years i delivered a speech, and after so many years i am delivering a contest speech. During the delivery of the speech i missed manything and changed manything, but still got the first place.

#DIY – Arm Knitting Scarf

Hello

I made many crochet scarfs before, but never knitted one. I learned knitting twice from my grandma, but i still found crochet easy to remember. But Handknitting is very easy and very fast. at first i had difficulty knitting, but the more layers i made the more i got used to it, until my finals layers were just perfect.

I watched couple of youtube videos how to arm knit, they were all about how to make an infinity/loop scarf, but i wanted a straight scarf so and started knitting, and my scarf was ready in 30 min only, but i kept my ends open i did not loop them together.

I used 2x bulky yarn (Nako spaghetti effect, 25% wool, 75% premium acrylic, 100 g 60m)

Tandoori Baked Fish

Hello,

I used emperor fish (we call it in Arabic ِشعري Shi’ari) to make our lunch. We have rice with fish always, never tried bread with this kind of fish, except for tuna fish.

Anyhow i just wanted to try something new so i mixed two spices together (Fish Masala & Tandoori Masala) and it tasted good.

Ingredients:

  • 4 Medium Size Emperor Fish ( شعري = Shi’ari)
  • 2 tbsp Fish Masala
  • 2 tbsp Tandoori Masala
  • 1 tbsp Yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp vinegar ( grandma told me to)
  • Salt & Black Pepper
  • Chopped Parsley

Side Stuff:

  • Tomatoes
  • Potatoes
  • Garlic butter
  • Chopped Parsley
  • Salt and Pepper

How to:

  1. Combine all marinade ingredients in a  bowl.
  2. Add fish marinade for 30 minutes.
  3. Put the fish on the baking tray or baking dish.
  4. Cut potatoes in 3 thick slices and give them cube cuts and cut the tomatoes from top X shape.
  5. Combine garlic butter, chopped parsley and pour the combined mixture in the cuts you made on potatoes and tomatoes.
  6. Place potatoes and tomatoes on the same baking tray with the fish or you can put them separate in another baking dish.
  7. Bake everything for 30-40 minutes or until well-baked.
  8. Serve immediately.

DIY wrapped words

Hello and Happy Friday
This DIY is very simple and easy to make, you can make it in an hour or less, depending on the size and materials you are using. I used cardboard, yarn and glue.

My first try was “love”, but soon I unwrapped because the cardboard broke while it was wrapped, it was looking loose. I made another one but I used glue in it to protect it from breaking and keep it hard.

I cut the carboard and wrapped red yard over it using glue

My third try was my nickname “Fo” I loved it more than my previous tries, because it looks much neater and after wrapping it I dipped the finished work in glue and water mixture. It became hard and the wrapped yarn doesn’t move or come off easily.

I used double layer of cardboard, wrapped it and dipped it in glue and water mixture and let it dry for few hours
